Grab your blankets and your hot cocoas, egg nog, wine or coffee. Let’s talk about some of the movies that will definitely get you into the mood for Christmas. Netflix has some good ones that I’ve watched over and over again. The Princess Switch, Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2, Home Alone are really fun to watch.
These are some of my favorites:
1. Home A Lone (1,2&3)– funny and nostalgic home alone is bound to have you laughing in stitches. Kevin ( the main character) thinks of ways to prevent his home from being vandalized.
2. The Knight before Christmas.
A medieval knight is transported to the present day, where he falls for a high school science teacher who’s disillusioned by love.
3. A Wish for Christmas
Sara prefers to be on the sidelines at work until someone steals her big idea for a Christmas initiative. She makes a wish to Santa to gain the courage to stand up for herself, and he gives her 48 hours to discover how to speak her own mind.
4. The Princess Switch.
One week before Christmas, a duchess switches places with an ordinary woman from Chicago, who looks exactly like her, and they each fall in love with each other’s beaus.
5.Holiday Rush.
After being fired, a radio DJ moves in with his aunt, bringing along his four spoiled children.
6.The Grinch
The Grinch grows increasingly annoyed with the ever-growing festive cheer that engulfs the village of Whoville. So, he teams up with his dog to ruin the festive spirit by being a spoilsport.
7. The Christmas Chronicles
Siblings Kate and Teddy Pierce hatch a scheme to capture Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. When the plan goes awry, the kids join forces with a somewhat jolly Saint Nick and his loyal elves to save the holiday before it’s too late.
8.A Christmas Prince
Christmas comes early for an aspiring young journalist when she’s sent abroad to get the scoop on a dashing prince who’s poised to be king.
9.Almost Christmas
Walter invites his four dysfunctional children home for Christmas a year after their mother’s death and hopes they can set aside their problems for a nice, traditional holiday.
10.The Best man Holiday
When college friends reunite after 15 years over the Christmas holidays, they find out just how easy it is for long-forgotten enmities and romances to be rekindled.
