End of Year Book Tag

It’s two (2) days until the new year, I’m two months into this blogging journey and I’m enjoying it thus far. While I didn’t get to share as many book reviews here are a few things I’ve enjoyed this year.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Yes, sadly I didn’t get a chance to finish these books and I’m giving my self until the first quarter of 2021 to finish them:

Anxious People-Fedrik BackMan

Home Before Dark -Riley Sager

Memorial -Bryan Washington

The Wife Upstairs – Rachel Hawkins

This Time Next Year – Sophie Cousens

For Better and Worse -Margot Hunt

Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?

I kind of shocked myself with the number of books I read in 2020. According to my tracker, I’ve read 12 books when the plan was to cover at least 5. That’s pretty awesome for someone who is just starting out. I plan to read at least 20 Books in 2021. Wish me luck🙂.

What’s your favorite genre?

I love Self Help Books, A good Thriller, Detective Mystery are books I’ve found myself gravitated towards.

What were your favorite books if any?

I love everything Melinda Leigh- Those Morgan Dane Books were addictive. I also enjoyed reading Rose Carlyle The Girl in The Mirror and lastly Lisa Jewel -The Family Upstairs.

Do you have any books that you didn’t enjoy?

Yes, Wild Game – Andriene Brodeur was oddly disturbing.

If you could recommend any two book what would they be and why?

The Miracle Morning– Hal Elrod

30 Days Change Your Habit Change Your Life -Marc Reklau

I’d recommend these two books because they changed my life. They allowed me to look past what was blocking me in seeing my fullest potential. These books challenged my thoughts and ideals gave me a different and broader perspective on life. I was able to broaden my horizon gain a better understanding of who I truly am and what I can do. If you’re feeling stuck and want that added push I would recommend the two especially going into the new year. You can get both on your Kindle or purchase on Amazon.
